This decorative chess set is one of a few chess sets we have managed to acquire from a Polish supplier. The solid wooden set features intricate wood burning and staining on both the pieces and the board itself. Hand crafted in the EU this set has a slightly rustic quality about it. The set has come from a small chess making company in Poland and therefore does not come in branded boxed packaging.
The pieces are non weighted and have soft felt on their bases. The unique had crafted feel to this set is quite special. The set is styled is a classic European design which has been copied by many Far Eastern chess manufacturers.

Note: This Chess Set is recommended for years 14 and above. Made in Poland.

The chess board measures 34.5cm square. The chess pieces range from 4cm to 7cm in height.
